Annelore and Ines played well in the final but ultimately had to acknowledge their opponents' superiority. On the other hand, Sarah and Lisa showed a strong performance in the finale. The tension was high with the score at 19-18 in favor of Belgium when a controversial decision by the referee turned the tide, making the loss even more bitter.

Pieterjan Deprest, coach of the duo Bex/Piret, reflected on the tournament: "It was a fantastic format to compete with two Belgian teams. It was particularly enlightening for Annelore and Ines. We didn’t really have specific performance expectations as it’s hard to predict. However, we can be satisfied that we made it to the final. Naturally, it's disappointing not to win it, but that’s not unexpected when you are competing against top duos."
