EK Ambassador

At the end of 2022, we launched an initial call to clubs to designate their ambassador. The enthusiasm was great and soon some 64 ambassadors signed up to make next summer a real volleyball festival together with us. We are delighted that we can rely on so many ambassadors to make a success of our actions with and for the clubs. A heartfelt thank you!

On Sunday, 26 February, more than 10 000 volleyball fans gathered at the Sportpaleis for the Lotto Cup Finals. Among them, the European Championship ambassadors were also invited to enjoy this volleyball party together. As a token of appreciation, all ambassadors present were briefly put in the spotlight and, like the finalists, were allowed to step onto the big stage to show off their club shirts to the packed stands of the Sportpaleis. After the men's final, they were also treated to a snack and a drink and received the new Yellow Tiger supporters' shirt to take home. From now on, they are all set to take up their role as ambassadors.

At the presentation of the European Championship ambassadors during the Lotto Cup Finals, we noticed that a lot of clubs and volunteers were still interested in signing up and supporting our actions. We would therefore like to give you the opportunity to sign up additionally until 12 March 2023. After that, we want to move up a gear and actively roll out our actions in the clubs.
