The Red Dragons secure their second victory against North Macedonia.

In a thrilling atmosphere, in front of a fully packed Sportpark in the city of Beveren, team Belgium emerged victoriously after five sets against North Macedonia. The guests from the Balkan twice clawed back after being down 1-0 and 2-1, creating the mental advantage when they saved two Belgian match points in the fourth set: from 24-22 tot 24-26.

In an amazing tiebreak, Georgiev and his teammates took the upper hand until 7-11. Yet, the Red Dragons were not finished. Wout D’Heer denied the guests one of their two match point with a killblock and Ferre Reggers served it out with an ace, proclaiming himself the topscorer of the match: 31 points, supported by 25 for Seppe Rotty. On the visitor’s side, Georgiev excelled with 28.
