The men's teams from Belgium and Portugal clashed in an epic Golden League match that had fans on the edge of their seats. Belgium beat Portugal 3-2, demonstrating their resilience and determination.


The match began with Belgium winning the first set 25-22. The Belgians established their dominance from the outset with powerful serves and strategic play, overcoming Portugal's solid defence. However, Portugal quickly regrouped and came back stronger in the second set. In a thrilling battle that went beyond the usual 25 points, Portugal won the set 31-29, levelling the score and intensifying the contest.


Portugal kept up the momentum in the third set, capitalising on Belgium's errors and executing powerful attacks to secure a 25-19 victory. The win gave Portugal a crucial lead and put pressure on Belgium to respond. Determined not to let the match slip away, Belgium rallied in the fourth set, showing tenacity and skill. They dominated the set 25-18, forcing the match into a decisive fifth set.
The final set was a test of endurance and mental strength for both teams. The Dragons managed to keep their cool and executed their strategies flawlessly, winning the set 15-11.
