Ferre Reggers at Milan until 2027

28/02/2024

In Italy, our compatriots got to show off once more. Ferre Reggers fired the lead ball by becoming top shooter in Taranto - Milan (1-3) with 23 points at 48%. And whether it is clear that Reggers is an added value for Milan: he will stay with the Italian club until 2027. Mathijs Desmet also came to 10 points (56%), but that was insufficient for Padua's win against Monza (1-3). Wout D'Heer (1p) got to play in three sets at Trentino, which however lost 3-1 at Perugia.

In Turkey, loss to Tursad (François Lecat): 1-3 against Galatasaray.

Without Sam Deroo, Zenit Kazan won 0-3 at Ural in Russia.

Bram Van den Dries (17p - 64%) was top scorer at PAOK Saloniki, which won 3-0 against Kalamata on the penultimate matchday of the regular league.

Without Liam McCluskey (knee injury) smooth win for leaders Orion: 3-0 against Limax.

In Croatia, Mladost Kastela with Luka Vlahovic (9p - 47%, 2 blocks) lost the topper against leaders HAOK Mladost, who put Kastela 6 points behind.

On the penultimate day of play in Denmark, Nordenskov (coach Dries Hoeyberghs) retained its lead after a 3-0 win against Odense.

Silke and Britt both MVP

Excellent performances by several Belgian women abroad. In Italy, Britt Herbots was named MVP after Scandicci - Cuneo (3-0, 14, 15, 14 goals against) with no fewer than 12 points at 50% and 69% in reception.

Kaja Grobelna was rested after a tough European match with Chieri (3-2 win against Paris) and still saw her team win 1-3 at Trentino. No Dominika Sobolska, but Busto Arsizio did get a win against Florence (3-1). And Laura Heyrman (13p - 53%) contributed her bit in All. Milan at Pinerolo.

Also in France a Belgian mvp with Silke Van Avermaet (good for 14p, 50%, 3 aces, 1 block), who won the topper with Mulhouse 1-3 against Levallois/Paris. Terville (with Elise Van Sas 3p. with 2 aces and 1 block) also won handsomely 3-1 against Cannes.

And in Germany, an excellent Nathalie Lemmens (12p - 64%, 3 blocks) at Dresdner continues to provide stunt work by going on to win 2-3 at Stuttgart. Two Belgian players face each other in the relegation round with Aachen (Celine Van Gestel 10p - 39%) - Vilsbiburg (Pauline Martin 15p - 52%). Result: 3-0.

In Japan, wins and losses for Lise Van Hecke with Queenseis: 2-3 at Hikamatsu (Lise 35p - 50%) and 3-0 at Red Rockets (Lise 12p - 34%).

Solid return of Vital Heynens team Nilufer in Turkey, which converted a 0-2 deficit against Aydin into 3-2 win (18-16 tiebreak).

In Hungary, Bekescsabai (Dominika Strumilo) is one win away from the semi-finals after a 3-0 win against Ujpest.

Loss for Lara Nagels (3p) and Markopoulou (Greece), visiting Thetis: 3-1.

Britt Rampelberg lost 1-3 against Targoviste in Romania with Alba Blaj in the cup semi-final.
