Last Saturday, our Yellow Tigers U20 played their final European Championship qualifier against Serbia. Although they won the first set nicely, they let it slip in the second: 17-25 for Serbia. After four sets, the Tigers lost 1-3 to the Serbian ladies. Pauline Luyten achieved a nice reception percentage of 50%, Kaat Cos hit 2 aces and Yana Wouters made six nice points (44%).

Although the Yellow Tigers U20 lost this match, they still finished second in their pool. Thanks to the results in the other pools, the Tigers were able to qualify for the European Championships! The EC will take place from 5 to 17 August in Sofia, Bulgaria and Dublin, Ireland.
