In the Champions play-offs, they were nearly unbeatable, securing 9 wins out of 10 matches, thus qualifying for the Champions Final. Despite Maaseik also performing strongly with 8 wins and leading the standings for home advantage, the title race remained unpredictable.

The Champions Final, a best-of-five series, promised to be thrilling. After a 3-1 home victory for Maaseik, Roeselare fought back, also winning 3-1. The third match showcased a dominant Roeselare, defeating Maaseik 0-3. The fourth match, back in Roeselare, was a breathtaking five-setter that Maaseik won with set scores of 25-19, 19-25, 26-24, 16-25, and 8-15 in the decisive set, leaving everything still up for grabs.
