This Saturday, our Yellow Tigers will play the semi-final of the Final Four. At 3:00 PM, our volleyball women will face Sweden. Kris Vansnick provides a preview:
"Sweden is, of course, known to our team and I think also to our supporters. Last summer, we played the semi-final against them and narrowly lost: 3-2 away and 3-0 at home. They are now led by a new Italian coach, Giulio Bregoli, and their goal is to join the VNL (Volleyball Nations League) as soon as possible. Last year, they played both the final of the European League and the final of the Challenger Cup, which they lost to France."

"This summer, they started a bit less strongly, but in recent weeks they have shown better and better play and results. Isabelle Haak is obviously the well-known star player of the team. Additionally, her sister Anna Haak and Alexandra Lazic, both active in the Italian league, are also players to watch. We already achieved a 0-3 victory in Sweden this summer, but Haak was rested in that match."

Kris continues: "We are starting this semi-final well-prepared and want to win this duel like all the previous matches in this competition. Our young group has already begun the summer with a perfect 18 out of 18, which might be unexpected for many, and we want to continue this trend."
