During the international training camp in Murcia, Spain, Noor Debouck and Anna Koulberg performed a remarkable heroic act. During a break, the two players decided to take a short walk near the team hotel. What was meant to be a relaxing pause unexpectedly turned into an emergency.

Along the way, the players suddenly heard a man calling for help. Without hesitation, they followed the sound. In a nearby garden, they found a man lying on the ground, seriously injured. He had fallen and suffered a large open wound on his arm, lying in a pool of blood.

Debouck and Koulberg acted quickly and immediately alerted the emergency services. While waiting for them to arrive, they provided first aid: they managed to temporarily stop the bleeding by tying off the wound, which helped stabilize the man’s condition until the ambulance arrived.

The swift and decisive actions of both players were crucial. Thanks to their quick thinking and determination, the man received the necessary medical care in time.
This act not only demonstrates the responsibility of our players, but also their courage and composure in a crisis situation. It goes far beyond sports and deserves full praise!

After their heroic deed, Debouck and Koulberg simply returned to the group, as a match was still scheduled later that day.
