Red Dragons continue their preparations for EuroVolley 2026 in Roeselare
The Red Dragons are entering the final stage of their preparations for EuroVolley 2026 in Roeselare. Three matches remain on the schedule at the REO Arena: two against the Netherlands and one against Czechia. These will be the final opportunities for Belgian supporters to see the national team in action on home soil before their departure for Finland.
Three preparation matches at the REO Arena
The Red Dragons will face the Netherlands twice, on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August. They will conclude their series of home matches against Czechia on Friday 4 September.

Friday 28 August at 18:00: Belgium – Netherlands
Saturday 29 August at 15:00: Belgium – Netherlands
Friday 4 September at 19:00: Belgium – Czechia

Final preparations for EuroVolley
Head coach Emanuele Zanini is currently working with an extended squad. The final 14-player roster for the European Championship will be announced at a later date.
Following the three preparation matches in Roeselare, the Red Dragons will put the finishing touches to their preparations. The Belgian squad will travel to Tampere, Finland, on 9 September. Two days later, on 11 September, Belgium will begin its European Championship campaign against the Netherlands.
