It had been a while, but this weekend it happened: Wout D’Heer got the chance to play in the second set and started in the third set for Trento, which won 0-3 against Catania. He contributed with 6 points at 75%. In Italy, Ferre Reggers (3 points for Milano) and Mathijs Desmet (1 point for Padua) faced each other. Padua won 3-2.


In Greece, Bram Van den Dries (18 points – 34%, 3 blocks, 3 aces) was highlighted as the standout player in the fourth set, leading Paok Saloniki to a 3-1 victory against Orestiada.


In the Netherlands, Liam McCluskey's team, Orion, will play the cup final against Limax St.-Odiliënberg on April 1st in Den Bosch. Orion faced challenges in the semifinals, losing the first leg 3-1 to Lycurgus Groningen. However, they managed to turn the tide in the return match, saving three set points and winning in the 'golden set' (15-8).


François Lecat's team, Tursad, secured a 3-0 victory against Belediyespor in Turkey.


Despite Sam Deroo's absence, Zenit achieved a 0-3 victory against Urengoy in Russia.


In Poland, Igor Grobelny's team, Warsaw, suffered a 3-1 loss against Lublin.


In Croatia, Mladost Kastela (Simon Luka  Vlahovic) won 0-3 against Rovinj.


And in Denmark, Nordenskov (Dries Hoeyberghs) secured a 0-3 victory against Middelfart.

In Romania, coach Julien Van de Vyver brought back Freya Aelbrecht to Turgu Mures, and despite her 16 points (58%), they narrowly lost to Voluntari in the tiebreak (14-16). Alba Blaj, with Britt Rampelberg, won 0-3 against Brasov.


In the German league, Dresdner, led by Nathalie Lemmens, almost won against Schwerin despite missing two key players but ultimately lost 3-2. In the losers' round, Vilsbiburg, with Alberto Chaparro as the new coach, won 3-1 against Aachen, with Pauline Martin earning MVP honors.


In Hungary, Dominika Strumilo's team, Bekescsabai, reached the cup final with a 1-3 victory against Nyiregghaza, where they will face Vasas.


In Italy, Scandicci (Britt Herbots 9p – 28%) won 2-3 against Vallefoglia. Laura Heyrman (4p – 67%) lost with Milan 2-3 against Novara. Kaja Grobelna (13p – 38%) had no trouble with Chieri, winning 3-0 against Bergamo. However, Dominika Sobolska's team, Busto Arsizio, lost 1-3 against Casalmaggiore.


In France, Mulhouse, without Silke Van Avermaet, won 3-0 against Quimper. Terville secured a 3-1 victory, with Elise Van Sas contributing a point in the final set against Marcq-en-Baroeul.


Lise van Hecke (23p – 47%) won in Japan with Queenseis, defeating Aranmare 3-0.


In Turkey, Vital Heynen's team Nilufer lost both in the European cup against Nantes and in the league against Thy, with a score of 1-3.


Markopoulou's team (Lara Nagels 2p) lost in the tiebreak against AEK Athens.
