U18 Boys

Belgium - France: 0-3

The boys started each set well but they lost their lead due to mistakes in their communication. Coach Mieke Moyaert told afterwards that as a team they performed below their level against a very strong France. Now it is especially important to grow further in the tournament and show what we are worth as a team.



U18 Girls

Belgium - Netherlands: 3-1

Coach Yorick Vandevelde's girls started their first match strongly and immediately created a gap. A strong block-defence system kept the Netherlands' attacking force under control. In set 3, the girls experienced a small dip, which they were unable to rectify. In set 4, they finished the match 25-15.



U20 Girls

Belgium - Germany: 3-2

After a difficult start and a 2-0 deficit, our tigers came back to 2-2. In the 5th set they continued the positive line and won it 15-12.
