Some standouts among Belgian women abroad.

In Japan, a double win for Lise Van Hecke with Queenseis. First a 3-1 win against Blue Cats (19p - 40%), then a tiebreak victory against Toray Arrows (12p - 37%).

In Hungary, Dominika Strumilo stunted by forcing a semi-final place in the cup with Bekescsabai with a 3-0 win, overturning the defeat in the outward match against SZBBA.

In Turkey, Vital Heynen won with Nilufur: 3-0 against Muratpasa.

Stunt work in Germany, where Suhl unexpectedly beat Dresden in the tiebreak, despite 12p from Nathalie Lemmens and 56% finishing. Also an exciting, high-level match for the Eurosport cameras at Vilsbiburg - Aachen: 2-3 (13-15 tiebreak) and handsome Belgian performance: Pauline Martin top scorer with 24p - 40%, an excellent Celine Van Gestel 12p - 32%.

Also a surprise in France, where Terville (with Elise Van Sas) corrected a 0-2 deficit (22-20 tiebreak), although Silke Van Avermaet (7p - 43%) tried to save her team Mulhouse.
In Italy, Scandicci (with Britt Herbots accounting for the match point under the eye of referee Luts) had qualified for the next round in the

Champions League (this week against world champions Eczacibasi). But a few days later, her 8p (44%) were to no avail against Milano, with Laura Heyrman scoring 10p at 73%, good for 0-3 win. Kaja Grobelna (23p - 35%) was close to a stunt with Chieri at Conegliano, but Hook (28p - 44%) was too strong: 3-2. Also 3-0 win for Busto Arsizio (without Sobolska) against Roma.

In Romania, Ilka Van de Vyver snatched a point with Voluntari from leaders Rapid Bucharest, while dad Julien was forced into play-downs at Targu Mures after a 3-1 loss at Constanta.
In Greece, Markoupoulo (Lara Nagels 2p, 25%, 1 ace) lost 1-3 against Panathinaikos.

Ferre Reggers pulls out
Although he was eliminated in the CEV Cup by new Polish leader Zawiercie, a few days later Ferre Reggers caught up by becoming top shooter with Milan (14p - 65%) against Cisterna (3-0). In Italy, another win for Trentino (3-1 against Verona) with the notable fact that Wout D'Heer actually got some lithe substitutes). Loss for Padua (2-3) against Taranto, although Mathijs Desmet scored 10p at 42%.

In Russia, Sam Deroo (10p - 47%) won 3-0 at Zenit Kazan against Minsk.
Pr. Warsaw (Igor Grobelny (7p - 25%) lost its favourable starting position in Poland with a 1-3 defeat against Rzeszov.

In the Netherlands 3-0 win for Orion against Huizen, although they still had to make do without Liam McCluskey, who is still rehabilitating for a while after a knee injury.
Loss by PAOK Saloniki (Bram Van den Dries 11p - 45%) in Greece at Panathinaikos.

Heavy loss by Tursad (François Lecat) in Turkey: 25-9, 25-12, 25-14 against Fenerbahce.

In Denmark 0-3 win for Dries Hoeyberghs (Nordenskov) at Aalborg.
Loss for Södertelge (3-0), coach Bart Janssen's team (husband of Liesbeth Mouha) in Sweden. Halmstad were the better.
