In their fourth match during this Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the Belgians took on Peru. After just over an hour, the Yellow Tigers finished the job. A flawless 3-0 victory. The set scores speak volumes: 25-12, 25-13 and 25-21. Pauline Martin scored 15 points to become top scorer.

Coach Vansnick after the match:
"The first two sets we were particularly strong in service and block defence. That helped ensure this clean win. We started with Krenicky as setter and each of the three sets the double substitution with Jutta and Nathalie worked. An important three-pointer in which we saw a strong Pauline Martin and Manon Stragier at work. We now have two wins from four matches. The young team continues to find solutions and is doing well. Now we look forward to the three matches against top nations Japan, Brazil and Turkey."
