Belgian U21 world champions, Joppe Van Langendonck (20) and Kyan Vercauteren (19) have decided to devote themselves fully and exclusively to beach volleyball. Both players won the world title at the last world championship in Roi-Et, Thailand, by beating Austria in 3 sets.

They just announced their ambition in Marc Willems and Dominique Baeyens' podcast "Tweemansblok". So the duo is leaving the venue in favour of beach volleyball.

The national men's team's goal is to qualify for the Olympics in 2028.
