Ukraine has already had a busy preparation. They won the European Golden League and then played the Challenger Cup to claim a spot in the Volleyball Nations League. There, however, they clashed with a superior France in the semi-finals. Ukraine is currently 11th in the European rankings.

One of the most well-known players on the Ukrainian team is captain Svitlana Dorsman.

The Belgians will play against Ukraine at 8pm on 21 August.
