In the semi-finals, Belgian beach duo Joppe Van Langendonck and Kyan Vercauteren still managed to win against French top favourite Canet-Rotar. In the final, they took on Austrian duo Hammarberg-Berger. It became a true thriller: 18-21, 21-19 and 15-13.
